How verification works on FAYVAY: 6 steps, verification types and what each badge means
Verification path
6 steps
- Step 1Create your account
Sign up in a minute: name, email, password and country.
- Step 2Verify your email
The confirmation link arrives instantly. A confirmed email protects the account and counts towards the verified badge.
- Step 3Verify your phone
A short code by SMS or call. The phone is used for safe contacts and recovery.
- Step 4Upload a photo or document
Documents and selfies are visible to moderation only. Photo verification confirms that the person in the photos is you.
- Step 5Moderation review
Usually 15–30 minutes, 24 hours at most. The status is always visible in your dashboard.
- Step 6Verified status
The badge appears on your profile and listings, raising trust and search ranking.
Verification types
Basic account protection, required for everyone.
Phone
Confirms the contact and recovery number.
Photo verification
A selfie with a gesture: proves the photos belong to you.
Document
Passport or ID. Visible to the moderation team only and never published.
Video selfie
A short recording instead of a document if you prefer not to share an ID.
Social / website
Extra proof of presence for agencies.
Request statuses
Pending
The request is accepted and waiting for a moderator. The profile works without restrictions.
Approved
The verified badge is on. It cannot be bought or transferred.
Rejected
With a reason. You can fix it and submit again.
What the badges mean
Verified
Identity, phone and photos confirmed by moderation.
Verification pending
The request is under review — the badge appears automatically.
Not verified
The account works, but without identity confirmation.
