    Removing a banner does not remove an approved profile

    No password or ordinary registration

    If a voluntary placement disappears, only its informational badge and diagnostics change. An approved profile and organic directory order do not depend on it.

    Website ownership

    Prove control through DNS, a meta tag or a file. No backlink is needed. Ownership verification is separate from editorial approval.

    • DNS TXT · recommended

      Add the supplied TXT record to the domain’s DNS. Allow time for propagation, then run the check. This is not a link to FayVay.

    • Homepage meta tag

      Add the exact meta tag to your homepage head. It must be present in the server’s HTML response.

    • Well-known file

      Publish the text file at the specified URL with the exact content. It must be publicly reachable.

    • Manual review

      Contact support with the domain and evidence of control. An administrator reviews the request and records a reason; approval is not automatic.

    Editorial review

    Review covers useful descriptions, factual features, audience, coverage and relationship disclosure. A backlink does not earn approval.

    Email confirmation grants management access but does not prove domain ownership. You can complete a profile immediately; verify the website separately before editorial submission.

    Optional FayVay placement

    A FayVay placement is optional. It may add a placement badge and diagnostics, but it does not determine publication or organic directory position.

    nofollow, sponsored and ugc are accepted. Keep promotional links qualified: qualification does not prevent placement detection or reduce directory eligibility or organic position.

    A practical guide to creatives

    These tools are useful even without directory participation. Choose formats for available space, accessibility and visitor experience.

    Size and static formats

    Use 320×50 or 320×100 for mobile strips, 300×250 or vertical formats for sidebars, and 728×90 or 970×90 for headers. PNG suits sharp-edged artwork; WebP can reduce file size. Test responsive output at the actual container width.

    Animation, HTML5 and iframes

    Use motion sparingly and respect reduced-motion preferences. GIF and animated WebP are real multi-frame images; HTML5 and widgets use iframes. Avoid many simultaneous animations, keep accessible link text and test mobile-network performance.

    Manual placement and WordPress

    Paste HTML or iframe code into the appropriate block. In WordPress, use a Custom HTML block. Check visibility in the article, header, sidebar or footer; installation is not automatic. Preserve the approved destination and sponsored/nofollow/ugc attributes.

    Privacy, referrals and limits

    Your management email is not public. Personal code attributes referrals to your material; public figures are aggregate referrals to FayVay, not guaranteed audience or user ratings. Anti-abuse data and ownership tokens remain private. We do not guarantee search rankings or the absence of all search risks.

    Partnership questions

    Is a backlink required for the directory?

    No. Inclusion follows website ownership, a useful profile and editorial approval. The studio is available independently of the directory.

    How do I verify website ownership?

    Use DNS TXT, a homepage meta tag, a well-known file or documented manual review. Email confirmation alone does not prove domain ownership.

    What happens if I remove a banner?

    Only the optional placement status changes. An approved profile remains listed, and organic order does not change merely because the banner was removed.

    May I use nofollow or sponsored?

    Yes. nofollow, sponsored and ugc are accepted on correct visible links. New promotional snippets default to sponsored nofollow.

    What is needed for editorial submission?

    Verified ownership and a useful profile: type, audience, languages, coverage, unique descriptions, usefulness, factual features and relationship disclosure.

    Does Premium change organic recommendations?

    No. Paid relationships are labelled in a separate sponsored block or filter. Paid outbound links are qualified sponsored nofollow.

    What do public metrics mean?

    They are aggregate referrals to FayVay. They are not user ratings, service guarantees or traffic promises.

    How can I report a profile error?

    Use support or the contact page. We may request clarification and review editorial decisions, ownership or website safety.
