How FayVay’s useful website directory works

    We assess websites from a visitor’s perspective: what they offer, who may find them useful and whether the profile represents them honestly. Placing a FayVay creative is a separate, voluntary option.

    Visitor usefulness comes first

    The directory may include relevant catalogues, editorial projects, communities, services, media, tools and events. A profile must explain what visitors will find and who the site serves. A logo, generic promotional text or copied profile is insufficient for publication.

    Email and website ownership are separate checks

    A secure email link confirms mailbox access and enables draft management. Website control is proved by DNS TXT, a homepage meta tag, a well-known file or documented manual review. HTTP checks use time and size limits and reject internal addresses and unsafe redirects.

    Substantive profiles and editorial review

    Submission requires a website type, languages and coverage, unique descriptions, audience, usefulness statement, two to six factual features and relationship disclosure. An intentional no-logo state is allowed. Editorial review considers content, reachability, relevance, deceptive behavior and domain restrictions. Text length supports review but does not replace judgment.

    FayVay placement is voluntary

    Banners, text links and widgets are available independently of directory inclusion. You may choose not to place them. Presence, removal, location or qualification of a link does not determine editorial approval or organic order. Optional placement checks provide only a separate informational badge, diagnostics and traffic attribution.

    Qualified links and sponsored relationships

    Promotional snippets default to sponsored nofollow. We accept correct visible links with nofollow, sponsored or ugc. Directory outbound links use ugc nofollow; paid relationships use sponsored nofollow. Sponsored placements are labelled separately, and payment does not grant hidden organic priority.

    Suspension, corrections and independent choice

    Publication may be restricted for lost ownership, misleading content, unsafe websites, duplicate profiles or policy violations. Removing a voluntary banner alone does not remove a listing. Use support to report an error or request a correction. Each website owner independently chooses collaborations; there are no automatic backlinks or promised SEO benefits.

    Optional Promotion Partner program

    Partners may optionally activate the Promotion Partner program by placing a qualified FayVay banner, widget, or text link. This is separate from editorial directory eligibility and organic ranking.

    Exact outbound link attributes

    Promotional materials
    rel="sponsored nofollow noopener noreferrer"
    Ordinary directory link
    rel="ugc nofollow noopener noreferrer external"
    Paid relationship
    rel="sponsored nofollow noopener noreferrer external"

    Ownership, editorial review, optional placement and Sponsored badges describe separate facts. Sponsored placements are separate from the organic selection; organic order considers profile usefulness, editorial assessment, review freshness and a capped number of qualifying unique referrals.

    A practical guide to creatives

    These tools are useful even without directory participation. Choose formats for available space, accessibility and visitor experience.

    Size and static formats

    Use 320×50 or 320×100 for mobile strips, 300×250 or vertical formats for sidebars, and 728×90 or 970×90 for headers. PNG suits sharp-edged artwork; WebP can reduce file size. Test responsive output at the actual container width.

    Animation, HTML5 and iframes

    Use motion sparingly and respect reduced-motion preferences. GIF and animated WebP are real multi-frame images; HTML5 and widgets use iframes. Avoid many simultaneous animations, keep accessible link text and test mobile-network performance.

    Manual placement and WordPress

    Paste HTML or iframe code into the appropriate block. In WordPress, use a Custom HTML block. Check visibility in the article, header, sidebar or footer; installation is not automatic. Preserve the approved destination and sponsored/nofollow/ugc attributes.

    Privacy, referrals and limits

    Your management email is not public. Personal code attributes referrals to your material; public figures are aggregate referrals to FayVay, not guaranteed audience or user ratings. Anti-abuse data and ownership tokens remain private. We do not guarantee search rankings or the absence of all search risks.
